Culinary Journey
Ainsroy’s culinary journey began at Oracabessa High School, where he excelled in Food & Nutrition and General Science. His formal training continued with an NVQ Level 3 Diploma from Runaway Bay Heart Academy, laying a strong foundation for his future endeavors.
In 2003, Ainsroy further honed his skills at Johnson & Wales University, specializing in advanced culinary techniques and kitchen management. His commitment to leadership was demonstrated through a Level 3 qualification in Leadership and Management from the Institute of Leadership Management in 2012.
Career Highlights
Ainsroy’s career launched at Couples Ocho Rios Jamaica, a prestigious 5-star resort, where he excelled as a Garde Manager. His creativity in fruit and vegetable carving, along with stunning ice sculptures, earned him gold and silver medals in JCDC culinary competitions.
Transitioning to the UK, Ainsroy held significant roles such as Senior Chef de Partie at Loch Fyne Restaurant and Senior Sous Chef at the renowned Randolph Hotel. At Randolph Hotel, he played a crucial role in achieving a 5-star health and safety rating and was instrumental in training staff and developing menus.
Ainsroy’s expertise was further enriched through collaborations with Michelin-starred chefs and advanced cooking techniques at La Manoir with Raymond Blanc and Head Chef Gary Jones, as well as a seminar by Michelin-star chef Aiden Byrne.
Current Ventures
Today, Ainsroy leads as the head chef at Hilton Garden Inn, where he combines his culinary artistry with his company, Roysperfection. Under Roysperfection, Ainsroy offers bespoke catering services and authentic Caribbean-ready meals, showcasing his unique blend of tradition and innovation.
